Our story, mission, and the impact we're making in communities across the region.
Seeds of Change was founded with one goal: “Save Waste, Feed the Hungry.” Established in 2025, Seeds of Change transformed from a local community garden to a grassroots initiative that acts as a second harvest for food going to waste. Today, we rescue food before it’s wasted with our farmers market partners and donate to allied food banks to nourish our community.
Since then, we have gone on to be recognized by the United Nations, published by local magazines like Stroll Magazine, and partnered with several farmers and organizations across the Bay Area. Our mission extends beyond providing food: we are dedicated to strengthening communities by empowering individuals, enhancing well-being, and inspiring collective action to create a more sustainable and compassionate future.

Our organization is dedicated to tackling food insecurity and environmental sustainability through innovative, community-driven solutions. By transforming food waste into resources for sustainable gardening, we are not only addressing immediate hunger but also building a model for long-term food equity and environmental resilience.
Our projects empower individuals to take action, foster collaboration, and inspire a movement toward a healthier, more sustainable future for all.

We believe in taking ownership of our actions and their impact on our communities and the environment, working diligently to create positive, sustainable change.
We strive to lead by example, pioneering innovative solutions to food insecurity and inspiring others to join our mission for a more sustainable future.
We recognize that meaningful change happens when people come together with shared purpose and collective action toward common goals.
